Buy TB-500 as a lyophilised research peptide in sealed vials of 5 mg or 10 mg. TB-500 is a synthetic heptapeptide, Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln, that reproduces residues 17 to 23 of thymosin beta-4, the actin-binding segment of a 43 amino acid protein found in almost all mammalian cells.
Buy TB-500: vial sizes and form
TB-500 is supplied in two vial sizes. The 5 mg vial covers single experiments, the 10 mg vial is intended for series or for cell culture work with several plates. Both contain lyophilised powder in a sealed glass vial, with the amount and the lot number on the label. For documented batches a certificate of analysis is available on request with that lot number, reporting identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC; these products are listed under peptides with certificate of analysis. If your research design looks at TB-500 together with BPC-157, the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend contains 10 mg of each compound in one vial. All compounds of this group are listed under BPC-157 and TB-500 research peptides.

What TB-500 is: a thymosin beta-4 fragment
Thymosin beta-4 binds the protein actin and so takes part in how cells organise their cytoskeleton. TB-500 reproduces the short segment of the protein that is responsible for this binding. Because the fragment is much smaller than the full protein, it is easier to synthesise and to characterise by HPLC and mass spectrometry. In the literature the fragment is also called Tβ4(17-23) or LKKTETQ peptide; TB-500 is the name used by research suppliers.

Questions about TB-500
Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?
No. Thymosin beta-4 is the full protein with 43 amino acids. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment that reproduces the actin-binding segment. The fragment is the compound sold on this page.
Can TB-500 and BPC-157 be ordered in one vial?
Yes. The BPC-157 and TB-500 blend contains 10 mg of each peptide, lyophilised in one vial, for research designs that work with both compounds.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, not a medicine, not a food or cosmetic.
