Growth Hormone Peptides

Growth hormone research peptides are compounds that act on the receptors of the growth hormone axis, above all the ghrelin receptor GHS-R1a. Our published range holds one of them: Ipamorelin, a synthetic pentapeptide that Raun and colleagues described in 1998 as the first selective GHS-R1a agonist. The category name describes the research field, not an effect.

Ipamorelin as a tool for receptor research

Ipamorelin binds the ghrelin receptor and is used in assays that measure receptor activation, signalling and selectivity. Its sequence contains two D-amino acids and the non-standard amino acid Aib, which make it more stable than a natural pentapeptide. It is supplied as lyophilised powder in 5 mg and 10 mg vials, stored sealed at -20 °C and reconstituted with bacteriostatic water in the laboratory. Blends with CJC-1295 or Tesamorelin are not part of the published range. How such modified peptides are built is explained in our guide What are peptides?, and the complete range is listed under all research peptides.
